Parents: Elemiah (Third Sphere, Angel of Inward Journeys) and Mark Levine, an English as a Foreign Language professor.

Background: Vered was born to Mark Levine and the angel Elemiah. Mark had met the angel while on a sabbat in Jerusalem. After Vered was born, Elemiah returned to Heaven, leaving Mark to raise Vered on his own. He did as well as he could manage, but still didn't have enough time for her, which was alright with Vered. It wasn't that they didn't get along, it was that they didn't feel like a family; more like some people who happened to live together.
After Vered graduated and completed her Bagrut, she was drafted into the Israeli army for two years (from ages 18 to 20). After finishing her duty, she decided to relocate to America, where her father was originally from. Her super reflexes had awoken in her during her time in the army, which also came with a vision of her mother, who informed her of her true heritage. Vered did not even contemplate joining Heaven; and while she is not angry at her mother for what she is, or what Vered herself is, she has a strong distaste for Heaven, and thinks some sort of justice or retribution is in order for the things Heaven has permitted to happen on Earth (the least of which are fellow Advents, whom she feels get the worst part of both worlds).

Personality: Vered is a calm, confident individual. She is friendly to most everyone, but does not go out of her way to be such. She is not openly bitter or angry herself about being an Advent, or about being stranded on Earth. After joining the Earth Faction, she felt a bit of responsibility to new or younger members, who are so very openly angry, to try and help them in some way. She knows too much anger is detrimental, and should instead be focused in a way that it helps, rather than hinders, the individual in fulfilling whatever goal it is they have in mind.

Abilities
Superhuman reflexes allow Vered to react quickly to stimulus and situations alike. Her sense of balance is also above-par, due to her ability, which lets her prepare herself before things generally happen. Vered does not have super speed, as much as it would often seem like she does, nor does she possess super strength. She's just quick; in mind and body.

Non-special abilities come from her time in the military; she is trained in basic armed combat as well as un-armed combat (Krav Maga).
